An easy, throw-on-and-go apron with comfortable crossback straps, generous coverage, and oversized pockets for cooking, gardening, crafting, and everything in between.
Part of our Small Batch Collection, this indigo smock was created in partnership with Djiguiyaso, a women-led textile cooperative in Bamako, Mali. The rich indigo pattern is inspired by traditional bogolan dyeing techniques, with hand-tied motifs that reflect generations of craftsmanship and storytelling. Led by Aissata Namoko, Djiguiyaso provides meaningful work for more than 100 women artisans and has been recognized by UNESCO for helping preserve Mali’s textile traditions.
Because these textiles are produced using traditional artisan techniques and available only in limited quantities, each Small Batch release is inherently rare. Thanks to the unique hand-dye process, no two aprons are exactly alike, making each one a true original. Once our fabric allocation is gone, it’s gone for good. Includes comfy cross-back straps for all day wear.
